By constantly pursuing a balanced and integrated chain, the Environment and Sustainability team seeks to create and share value among producers, processors, retailers and consumers, while primarily committed to complying with the environmental legislation. Environmental compliance of manufacturing operations, development of suppliers and integrated producers, respect and appreciation of our people and voluntarily honoring animal welfare commitments have been increasingly incorporated into the business and purpose of BRF. Aware of the challenge of putting sustainable management into practice, we study trends and good global actions. We examine their connection with our business, we carry out socio-environmental risk analyses, we invest in tools for engagement, learning and a culture of sustainability, we map out good practices to disseminate and recognize them, and we address our progress and challenges. This area includes the Animal Welfare, Environment and Sustainability teams.| Title |
