Job Description
- Creating new business by acquiring new clients and selling to the existing accounts, through effective networking, market analysis, price and product negotiations.
- Contribute toward the achievement of the overall African commercial targets by ensuring monthly, and quarterly sales volume and revenue targets are met.
- Identify potential new market channels, geographies, consumer segments, and categories of business, and develop appropriate sales strategies (in conjunction with marketing) to address the opportunities (including but not limited to assessing the market potential, devising entry strategies, outlining distributor agreements, defining pricing and GTM approaches etc)
- Interface with the operational plan to validate the right volume allocation per brand, distributor and country to the S&OP process based on the operational plan and country managers BRF Network management
- Align the prices in monthly basis with the pricing team in Brazil and define pricing policies per category, brand and country
- Analyzes sales trends based on historical data to ensure strong performance and close performance gap
- To manage the sales budget which includes travel and expenses
Academic Background
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with emphasis in Sales & Marketing
- Desirable: Masters in Business Administration
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years B2B sales / Account Management experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods environment
- Experience in the meat and poultry sector
- Experience into various sub-Saharan African countries
Specific Knowledge
- Thorough understanding of the B2B Sales cycle
- French would be an added advantage
- Understanding of Go-to-Market and Route-to-Market Strategies
