Job Description

• Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Process : Oversee the MRP process to ensure that material requirements are accurately forecasted and planned in alignment with production schedules. This includes monitoring system parameters, analyzing demand fluctuations, and ensuring the system is updated with the latest data for optimal planning.
• Ensure Timely Availability of Materials for Production : Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and logistics teams to guarantee that all necessary materials are available on time for production, avoiding delays or disruptions. This involves managing lead times, tracking deliveries, and resolving supply chain bottlenecks
• Optimize Inventory Policies and Levels : Develop and implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, balancing the need to minimize holding costs while ensuring sufficient stock to meet production requirements. This includes analyzing inventory turnover, identifying slow-moving or obsolete items, and defining reorder points.
• Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams to Achieve Organizational Goals : Work closely with teams such as production, procurement, logistics, quality, and finance to ensure alignment of material planning with broader organizational objectives. This includes participating in cross-functional meetings, sharing insights, and supporting initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor and Improve Supply Chain Processes : Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure reliability. This includes identifying bottlenecks processes, implementing the best practices, and leveraging technology to streamline operations.
• Coordinate the Management of Materials Without Planned Consumption : Identify and manage materials that do not have planned consumption, ensuring they are appropriately handled to minimize unnecessary costs. This includes analyzing inventory data, reallocating resources, and implementing controls to prevent overstocking.
• Simplify the Bill of Materials (BOM) : Analyze and simplify the Bill of Materials (BOM) to reduce complexity, improve production efficiency, and lower costs. This involves reviewing material usage, eliminating redundancies, and standardizing components where possible.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Postgraduate degree or certification in Logistics, Operations Management, or MRP/ERP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
