Job Description
- Plan, sell, manage sales/loadings/payments and clients, build detailed sales forecast with volumes, products, prices, countries and clients, whilst ensuring high delivery adherence vs plan respecting to compliance, health & safety rules and sales practices in accordance with company, local and industry laws.
- Analyze sales market trends (macro and micro), competitor’s actions/activities, market channels and trade evolution and industry changes and identify, plan and implement sales strategy and tactics for the expansion of the business in the region, increasing the market share in different segments of business, channels and product categories;
- Develop new clients (local importers, distributors and/or logistic operators) improving quality of sales and product portfolio and engage with internal stakeholders such as production planning, logistics, finance, marketing, legal, compliance, Institutional Relations and others, in order to manage the delivery of targeted/planned results.
- Ensure the strategy/tactics underpins the delivery of results in volume and market share growth & EBITDA targets;
- Manage a) the order-to-cash flow, analyzing regularly reports supporting the supply chain and financial departments, b) the Contracts with customers, following the corporate governance rules, c) the financial exposure per client and country, lead payment collection with clients in order to avoid overdue payments; d) the compliance with veterinary and statutory requirements for sales in different countries and with different clients;
- To monitor market movements, import and export statistics, local production, exchange rate, regulatory and anticipate actions in sales and prices focused in positive results;
- Provide leadership towards the commercial account managers / traders inclusive but not limited to people management/training/ etc.
- Support the process of Claims Management with information and feedback from the clients, analyzing and tracking problems that may happen.
- Adhere to all sales policies, practices and procedures .
- Ensure high standards of service.
- To continuously suggest innovative solutions to improve sales performance and processes and drive results.
- Represent the interests of BRF at exhibitions, industry meetings and presentations.
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s Degree ideally in Business Management or equivalent OR
- Master’s in business administration or similar
Desirable requirements
- Exposure and work experience within various UK & European markets;
- Experience in cooked chicken products;
- Experience in sales to Food Processors and Retailers;
- Experience in the meat and poultry sector;
- Experience in trading or B2B sales;
- Experience in Marketing.
