Job Description

• Implementation and verification of biosecurity measures in properties.
• Application and checking of correct health management on days out period - washing / disinfecting after changing the litter .
• Correct execution of vaccine programs - as well as their serological controls and monitoring, with the titration check to evaluate the immune status of the flocks concerned. Useful also for the diagnosis of possible risks by the perception of field challenges.
• Health monitoring through field necropsies (broiler/turkey).
• Antibiotics efficiency checking and rotation for each disease found.
  Management of the sock swab sampling and their results for Salmonella control.
• Ensure good animal health on all flocks.
• Rational field usage of antibiotics, disinfectants, medicines, organic acids, chlorine and insecticides.
• Ensure legal documents to be properly accorded to poultry transportation and in the farms.
• Comply with all food safety HACCP requirements and pre-requirements within the workplace.
• Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements within the workplace and while driving.
• Ensure the 5S compliance within the workplace.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Process and other applicable procedure related to the scope of the job.

Desirable requirements

• Preferably graduated from Veterinary faculty,
• Preferably 1 year experience in animal/poultry health or former broiler agents/assistants side,
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point),
• Fluent English (written and verbal),
• Excellent understanding of poultry health diseases, as well as pharmacology and immunology (vaccination) with the focus on prevention and control towards biosecurity,
• Good knowledge and appliance on management and leadership,
• Good understanding & application of problem solving tools (PDCA, Cause & Effect Diagram),
• Good understanding of food safety and quality – HACCP,
• Good understanding and application animal welfare standards,
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence,
• Team player,
• Problem solver,
• Ability to work in a team environment and appropriately interact with all levels of the organization and represent the area in a professional manner,
• Availability to work in alternative hours,
