Job Description
- Register suppliers/components/materials, evaluate the performance and qualification/ certification along with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering function and supply department.
- Register the assets list (equipment, tools and instruments) used in the works of Maintenance and keep it updated.
- Carry out the survey and keep the registry of spares for Maintenance updated, along with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering function.
- Control purchases of parts and components;
- Update the follow-up of purchase requirements along with the supply department;
- Establish, along with the Maintenance and Reliability Engineering function, and inform to the warehouse department the way and amount of storage of the components.
- Communicating with suppliers to confirm availability.
- Receiving and checking items delivered are in good conditions and that they agreed with order and delivery documentation.
- Maintaining stock level by consulting with senior staff and raising purchase requests as required
- Assisting with periodic stock audits.
- Comply with reasonable EHS instructions and safe working procedures
- Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems
- Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
- Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety
- Assist with the preparation of risk assessments
- Report EHS hazards, incidents & issues.
Academic Background
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a reputable University.
