Job Description
- Prepare the production plan for long, medium and short term
- Prepare the direct material plan for long, medium and short term
- Ensure that the information about capacities & efficiency are updated and aligned with production department
- Evaluate the demand / coverage of finished goods stocks at factory, taking some actions along with S&OP team when necessary
- Monitor the deliveries and inventory of packaging, ingredients and raw material
- Monitor the shelf life of all materials in stock (direct and finished) and develop actions for those under expiring risk
- Ensure availability of all resources required for production before confirming the production plan to production team
- Monitor the actual production and take necessary actions regarding short or excess production
- Monitor and manage the days in stock of direct materials
- Prepare the UEP capacity file and send to controlling department before the end of each month
- Participate in the demand meeting with S&OP and accordingly analyze the changes needed to be done in the production plan
- Oversee the planning and MRP activities to ensure achievement of the KPI targets
- Organize and lead the weekly MRP meeting with analysts
- Open the production orders daily, according to the plan
- Be a member of the HSE unit committee, discussing, proposing solutions, raising concerns regarding HSE in Al Wafi Factory
- Responsible to follow the HSE (health, safe and environment) rules
- Train new staff about production planning
- Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
Academic Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration and related areas
