Job Description
1. Request to procurement and/or supplier to send all mandatory documents for clearance prior to the arrival of the goods and check if the documents are correct and valid for KSA authorities (customs, SFDA, etc) and ensure to receive the same prior to any inbound in Green Field Factory/3PL warehouse
2. Plan the arrivals of the containers/trucks (from local or port/airport) and inform all the stake holders regarding the offloading plan
3. Monitor the ETA (estimated time of arrival) of the materials and plan the offloading accordingly
4. Inform the cost forecast of importation cost for proper creation of PO conditions/provision
5. Coordinate with the local, regional & international suppliers about the import procedures
6. Monitor provision x actual amount of import conditions allocated to the inventories a promote the adjustment always when necessary
7. Implement the corporate policies of Quality Assurance of the products in all the steps of the logistics processes
8. Plan and manage the weekly operation projection (stock, inbound) in order to plan the proper resources with antecedence
9. Inform in advance and in a clear way to the service providers regarding the deliveries in Green Field/3PL Warehouse
10. Give support for all import process, giving priorities for cost reduction and/or requirements requested by other departments or department members
Academic Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, logistics or related areas
